CR1 and drink driving

Hello everyone, my wife is British and she got a drink driving charge 2 years ago, she is no way an alcohol and has stopped drinking since the incident. Is there any with a similar experience? And if so how way your CR1 visa process

She has been sober for 2 year. She even graduated with a first class degree and works for Cambridge University. I’m very surprised to hear this. She’s far from having a drink problem, she just made a mistake.

How do you prove that?

In her full medical history, her GP documented that she was a current non drinker since her drinking charge

Plus at the medical can’t they tell if someone was addicted to alcohol aren’t there physical signs of addiction.

There have been ppl who were sober a lot longer then two years and it still caused a delay.  We cannot predict how this one will turn out. It will depend on the doctor who does the medical and the CO who looks at the PC.

Last time I went to a Doctor they asked the 101 questions and noted what I told them.

 

It is what it is nothing you can do now.

She told her GP the truth. She even had a full medical, blood tests and all

I know there’s nothing I can do, I’m just asking. On Reddit people with crimes of moral turpitude were granted visas, so I just wanted to see if anyone with a drink driving charge got a visa. That’s for the help. Hopefully the person doing her medical sees she doesn’t have an alcohol problem

Nobody has suggested she will not get a visa, not a CIMT
