AOS on K-2

Hello,

I am so slow and now the new fees will cost me more. :crying: :angry:

My step son is under 14. I wife was k-1 and she has her 2 yr cond. card. I don't understand the fee. Am I going to need to pay $600 or $930?

Filing Fee :

$930 plus a biometrics fee of $80; the fee total is $1,010. Exceptions listed below. There is no fee for applicants who are filing Form I-485 based on having been admitted to the United States as a refugee. Applicants 79 years of age or older are not charged a biometric fee; the fee total is $930. Applicants under 14 years of age: - Filing with the I-485 application of at least one parent have a fee total of $600 - Not filing with the I-485 application of at least one parent have a fee total of $930

since your wife already AOS, it looks like the fee is $930.

well that is what I get for draging my feet.. But on my behalve and defence. I really did not have the funds till about now.. I will see how I can scape up the fees..

I am wishing I went and married my wife overseas.. I knew I should of done that.. that way they both would have it at the same time.
