I doubt I would have joined if I had stayed in the UK, as everyone I wanted to keep in touch with, I could just phone or go down the pub with. It's useful when all your old friends are 4,000 odd miles away, tho.

Nah. There are only 3 or 4 "internet people" whom I honestly, truely hate. But I hate them with such a perfect, malevolent hatred that it is a thing of beauty.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.
