Entering N/A or leaving Empty on some fields when filing I-130 online

Hi community, I'm just trying to avoid some stupid mistakes so please help me with this question. I researched this topic but found different answers.

My wife hasn't used previous names before, but there is a section that asks "has the beneficiary used other names before.."  Please see screenshot for reference.

Should I enter N/A in each field or leave them empty?

Also there is a field for "PROVIDENCE" in address information. We do not have "providence" in our country, should I leave this empty or N/A?

Do we always need to enter N/A for every answer we don't have?

Thank you for taking time if you can reply.

The name question is applicable.  The answers are "NONE".

It's "province".  Leave it blank.

As you move forward, there may be some fields that, if left blank, will not let you move forward.  Usually, questions really are applicable, even if the answers are "NONE".  It's not the same thing.  You will be asked about children.  The paper form has room for 4 or 5.  Typing No Children one time is enough.  That answer renders the remaining questions not applicable, and you can just leave them blank.  If the online form is like the above, where you ADD a child after the first, then NONE or NO CHILDREN in the first space, is sufficient.

Hi, sorry i'm confused. Are you saying I should type "NONE" in the middle name? But i'm afraid it may be interpreted as my middle name is None.

Hard to misinterpret that you used another name and all three names were NONE.  If you are just saying you have no middle name, that's another issue.  In that case, or in yours, for the middle name, type NO MIDDLE NAME.

We are not talking about your actual name, but the fact your wife never used ANOTHER name.  Right?

yeah the fact that my wife never used another name. please see the screenshot, i added the entire section. it is asking for full name(first, middle, last) and all of them don't apply to us.

I left this blank, is this an issue?

it doesn't make sense to enter "NO FIRST NAME" , "NO MIDDLE NAME" , "NO LAST NAME"

thanks.Screenshot2023-08-29at4_27_31PM.thumb.png.410421d67afeb347d1271f85edb478f9.png

thanks.

If it will let you leave it blank, leave it blank.  Note that there may be several questions that don't make sense to you.  They don't have to make sense to you, but you'll still need to answer the questions asked.

If it will let you leave it blank, it will also let you make things clear by entering "NONE".  And NO, they will not think she formerly was known as None None None.
