Deadline for DV 2023 Visa Issuance - QUESTION

Hello! Does the Sept 30 deadline for DV visa issuance apply for derivatives as well?

I am a spouse of a DV Lottery winner. My husband and our daughter have received their visas in November 2022 but I was put on Admin Processing and I still don't have my visa. US Embassy in Montreal have requested for a new medical exam and my passport in April 2023 but I'm still waiting...

Is it safe to expect my visa or at least a decision by Sept 30, 2023? Or that deadline is only for the principal applicants?

Thank you!

If so your AP could be for a year

All selectees, including family members, must be issued visas by September 30, 2024.

Clearly, the subject line is correct -- this is for DV 2023, which ends in a month.  As stated in the post, the principal and one derivative have already been issued.  I'm assuming they have already entered the US, since their visas were issued in November 2022.

OP: As others have said, the September 30 deadline is for all DV applicants. If you have not already done so, I encourage you to send an e-mail inquiry with "URGENT: DV 2023" and your case number in the subject line to the Consulate.
