Applying Police clearance certificate beforehand

Hi everyone 

Hope everybody is fine I am from India 

Is it fine to apply for Police clearance certificate from India and keep it with us  before NVC asks for it and later submit when NVC asks 

Will my PCC be still valid? 

Or apply for PCC after NVC asks for it? 

Which way is better as PCC from India takes 2 months to receive.

How far are you into the process? (When did you submit the I-130?)

Do you plan on interviewing in India or Canada?

Will you return to India before the petition is approved/ before interview?

If u r now in Canada and will not return to India ,  u can get the police clearance 

If u return to live there ,  u will need new one

Yes i am now in Canada and i am planning to get Indian PCC by applying from Canada.

Hi I am now in Canada and will not return or go to India before NVC processing or Interview.

Then get your PCC from India now. 

The PCC will not expire before your interview as you are not planning to return to India.

I obtained my PCC from another country 7 months before my I-130 was approved. It was not an issue.
