Heath Insurance evidence needed at interview?

My wife has been DQ'd and awaiting interview date for USEM in Manila.

 

My question; will my spouse be required to show proof of health insurance during the interview?  I have searched for an answer but couldn't find it.

 

October is the open enrollment and can easily add my wife and son if need be.

I would add them to your health insurance as soon as possible for several reasons.  However, I haven't seen proof required in several years.  Good luck.

Not required 

Moving to US will be life changing event and u r able to add her then under "Special enrolement circumstances"

check your health care as some say within 30 and some say 60 days

But don't wait too long after she arrives

Thank you for the reassuring answer.  My HR hasn't been able to answer this question as to if it's a "life changing" event, and quite frankly haven't had much time to call the insurance company.

you should have a company booklet or copy of your insurance benefits 

i would send now for the application to add her to have it ready immediately
