I just got mail in from the us embassy in london saying I can do my ds160 and continue my visa. It says that we might be asked about i134, i have a couple of questions regarding this.

my fiancé who is a us citizen doesn’t meet the minimum requirements as a household with 7 is around the 52 thousand mark she makes 15 thousand a year and has been working there for a year. Her father makes more than the minimum requirement and is offering to sponsor me aswell. How do they go about filing out the required documents. I really need help with this thank you.

Are there 5 other people living with her?

Or is it a case that she presently has 5 dependents on her taxes?

How did you get to a 7 person household?

She is the petitioner I’m the beneficiary, she has 6 people in her household 7 including me when I move there.

How many of the “ household”

members are listed as dependent on her income tax

Are all of the people on her taxes OR do they just live with her?

They just live with her, but still she couldnt be a single sponsor with making 15 thousand a year thats why her dad is going to be joint sponsor

Her house hold number for the I 134 will be 2 not 7. But yes she does not meet that financial criteria.

Okay. Be careful when filling out the paperwork for dad, too. You need to count how many people are on taxes (plus immigrant/beneficary) not how many people live in the same house. And the dad doesn't have to include his daughter on his I-134. This also counts for the I-864.

Which country will you be interviewing out of? You might be able to use savings for the I-134.

Personally i have spent my savings on travelling to the US, I'm from the UK. So she would still need to fill out the i134 and he would need to fill it out too but only count the people who is on his taxes?

Yes. Only count the people on his taxes (and then you).

The petitioner is always the main sponsor. So, they always need to complete the I-134.

Then a second sponsor is found. And they complete their own I-134.
