Thanks for your response, what is a virtual US number please? I have tried to get a mobile over there but can’t as I don’t have an address.

Mint Mobile - you don’t need a US address. You can get an eSIM and then just switch between your UK & US numbers as needed.

have someone in US buy and send u a US sims card (Best buy has them, among other places)

Then insert to your cell and u have a US #

Or ask for expedite thru EMMA

How do I submit an expedite request to USCIS?

You can generally request expedited processing by calling the USCIS Contact Center at 800-375-5283 (TTY 800-767-1833) or by asking Emma after you have obtained a receipt notice. (You can access Emma by clicking on the Ask Emma icon on the top right of this page).Oct 20, 2022

Congressman really can't help but he would need you to sign authorization paper in person to even get him to inquire-he/she would  get same info u can get

You can also write to each individual office:

For all other immigration benefit requests pending with USCIS offices located outside the United States, you may request expedited processing by submitting a written request, along with any supporting documentation, directly to the USCIS office with the benefit request.

Hi, I am trying to request that my husband and children’s I-130 applications are expedited but am struggling to get the request through to the right people.

I have called the USCIS a number of times, they have informed me that the request has to be dealt with a tier two agent. As I am outside the US and do not have a US address or phone number they have to email me to request further information on my expedite request. The issue is marked as urgent and I have been told they will contact me in 72hours. I have been through this stage three times and each time I receive an email from a no response email address stating that the application is within the processing time but nothing about expediting.

The last time I called an agent suggested that I mailed the request, with all the information and supporting documents directly to the service centres dealing with the applications. I did this, sent them Royal Mail tracked and signed, (at great expense) so I know that the letters were delivered five days ago but still there is no change on my online account to show that an expedite request is being considered.

Anyone have any advice on what to do to get this request in front of the right people, I have been trying for over a month?
Thank you very much for your help.

What response, if any,  did you get to your previous efforts in May to expedite?

Perhaps the responses saying you're within the expected processing timeline is their way of telling you they are not  going to expedite the case?

Thanks for the suggestion. Which congress person would I contact as I live in the UK and have never resided in the US. The application are being processed by four different service centres so not even a common state there. I find it very strange that an immigration service cannot communicate with people outside of their country, surely that is the majority of their clientele.

I would use the address of wherever you are using as your domicile.

No expedite request was made in May as all the processing changed dramatically from between 2 months to 1 weeks. Now they are saying’ taking longer than expected to process’. My understanding is anyone can make an expedite request and it has to be considered. I haven’t even been able to make the request yet.

From USCIS.gov

I’ve done this. Posted letters to all four of the service centres that are dealing with the six applications. They were delivered on Monday but no change to my online status to acknowledge the expedite request.

Yep... apologies I didn't read it correctly. It might take a while for someone to open the mail and read the request then update your online account. It might also happen at different times. Seems like you have done the correct thing and now you just have to wait for acknowledgement/ an answer.

As you were told previously, they might only expedite one of the cases (the one involving the custody agreement).

And even if you expedite at USCIS level you will have to request expedite at NVC level again.

This person requested expedite via Ask Emma.

@Stephie C have you tried expediting online not just calling? You send the evidence via email and I don't think you need an US based address/phone number.

But, if you do you should use a family member or friend's information.

What is the Court date the child has to move by?

Expediting is free to try and really just part of the process now.
