Hi everyone,

I would like an advice from you. I'm helping my sister to ask USCIS about her case. I briefly tell you her process : She came here on work visa +10 years ago. She got married around 3  or 4 years ago. She filed I130 & I485 on Nov. 17/2021. Her interview was in Tampa FL. on July/2022. Since that date her case has not any advance. Last month we checked USCIS status it says she can contact them after August 7th. May you help telling me what I should asks USCIS to get positive  answers from them.

Thank you

I assume she was out of status and married a USC, marrying a LPR would not make much sense.

A year is time to sue. Seems there is something they do like about her case, maybe they are waiting to see if she stays married.

Yes, her husband is a US citizen.

2 years is a long enough wait.

She needs to file a WoM.
