Processing times....

As I am reading about new members just applying for K1/CR1-IR1 visas, I am aware that it now takes twice, sometimes three times longer for the visas.  This is incredible!  Does anyone have an idea as to why the process is taking so long?  I fear that in two years, it will be as long as bringing a brother/sister over from another country.  I wanted to if anyone had any feedback as to the wait times?  Are they focusing on other category visas?

This has been discussed here many times in the relevant visa forums and all the Facebook groups set up for visa processing tracking, as well as YouTube videos.

I was just asking if anyone knew if focus has changed from family based to other category visas.

no, it was covid backlog + hiring freeze. Times are slowly decreasing as they catch up. It's not a fast process
