Hello sutton,

I think you have a few threads asking about information about this. I answered another thread on transferring to Vancouver in another thread. I believe your primary residence is supposed to be West of Winnipeg. If you're unemployed, and your package is still with NVC, you could look at transferring to the West yourself, and then advising NVC that is where you now live, and your file should be transferred to Vancouver not Montreal. Just asking for the file to be transferred because you want the interview sooner is NOT a reason they will transfer it. There was an occasion however where a VJ'er had relatives in BC, and the Canadian partner was not employed and "visited" his Uncle's place during the stage where the package was at NVC and advised them that he was now residing in BC and to transfer the file there. There is still a one or two month wait for interviews in Vancouver as well however. Your best bet would be to sit back, relax....take a deep breath, and wait. I know when waiting it can seem forever, but you'll have your whole life to spend with your SO in the US sooner than you know!
