I don't think you should if someone can locate the documentation and review it.

I agree - however I very much doubt that could happen. It's been 5 months. I also have limited time to respond to them and I need to make sure everything gets to USCIS. I sent it all out today. The congressman's office might help. I got the ball rolling on that too. Wish me luck :(

Your I-290B will be approved and AOS re opened. Pat yourself on the back for good research ( attorney consult , posting) and putting together your motion.

As of yesterday, my case was reopened :) in the notice they said they will send me a notice in writing of their decision. Now, how long is that going to take you think?

Also, got my driver license :) it’s been a good news week.

Excellent result. It was a human error , USCIS recognized it as such and made good on correcting it by also honoring the expedite.
You are now the designated I-290 B resource for others facing the issue 😂.stay and keep posting

Absolutely ☺️ I was thinking of making my letter to USCIS with the 290 B a google doc for people to look at. I’ll link it in my profile once I do.

Hi @PGaffney! Just found your post because I'm going through a similar situation and loved that your application has been reopened and approved so quickly :) , would you mind sharing the content of your cover letter/brief (redacted) with me, please? I'm starting to work on my form I-290B and booking a new medical right now. Thanks in advance!!!

Not at all! I'll send it over to you. Yes, it was very fast, I was surprised and very happy. I have my green card, social and everything is good now. I'm sorry this happened to you too - and best of luck to you in a speedy turn around!
