K1 visa proof of income from employment- beneficiary too?

So we have collated all the proof of income/assets for Form I-134, but a question arose as we were preparing the pack. For the beneficiary (me), do we need an employment verification letter too? Because as soon as I pass the interview, I would quit my job to move to the US. I have proof of other assets as required, just wondering as the form asks for my income, but it feels contradictory.

Thanks!

Not required.  The I-134 is just concerned about whether your income/assets come from any illegal activity.  No need to worry about that section if your income/assets are all legit.
