In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

The only USCIS form you should send is I-129F.

The I-134 is provided at the interview... "What to send to your fiance once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2)" portion of the VJ K-1 guide.

When do I need to show financial support form I 134?

This will be needed in what is called the packet 3 at the embassy state in Argentina.

Once the case is approved at the NVC state and it is sent to the US embassy in Buenos Aires, another packet of evidence will need to be prepared and taken to the embassy prior to the interview.

~~ Two related threads merged. Please do not start a thread for each question relating to the K1 process as that’s spamming the forums. Keep all questions and follow ups relating to the K1 process in THIS thread. Thanks ~~

You can also include Form G-1145 with your I-129F, if you want to receive email notification when USCIS receives your I-129F.  (they will also mail the I-797C)
