RCMP for certified criminal recipient check [split thread]

What did you all ask for at the RMCP for your certified criminal recipient check? It seems they gave a border crossing visa with fingerprints and said this was good for K1. Thanks!

I went to XL-ID Solutions Inc. in Montreal (on Henri Bourassa) and got my finger prints taken which were then sent to the RCMP by them and received my police report in the mail about 3 weeks later. I brought the paper with the packet information and showed the receptionist to make it easier, but it had to have the National Repository entire Holdings check.

Thank you! My fiancé lives in a small Canadian town so he does not have access to third party fingerprinting places. He did receive fingerprints from RCMP though. So we’re looking for alternatives.

Yeah I noticed there aren’t a lot of places which is unfortunate if someone does not live in a major city, let alone for the medical exam in Quebec there is only 1 location it seems and it’s unfortunately downtown which is always a hassle to get to 😩
