Annoyances At Work

the only annoying thing really is we recently got our breakroom taken away they made it into an office.

so now the cube behind me is the break room. lol nothing like smelling a mixture of food and burnt popcorns. on the flip side the coffee pot is at a moments reach. I can see when it was made. ahhhh the coffee pot.

the other good news is our cubes are far apart to where you dont hear anyone close to you- thank god - I cuss too much. lol

The things that really gets me ticked off at work are stupid management decisions and people pissing on the toilet seat.

A couple of things that would piss me off when I was in the coffee club, one would be someone drinking the last cup of coffee and not making a fresh pot and the other would be that I would make a fresh pot and not keep an eye on when it was done and it would be empty when I remember to go check.

Funny you say that. my manager is a coffee making freak. he constantly makes coffee. you never really

run out of fresh coffee here. sometimes I would say Hey " charles - where the coffee be at " of course he grumbles and say " you can make it " I always hesitate. he always makes the coffee without fail.

The best cup of coffee ever is when management serves it to ya.

My office colleague (female, I hasten to add) burps loudly all day. And when I say loudly, I mean LOUDLY. You know, when you get a bunch of adolescent boys together for a burping competition - yes, that loud!!!

I think my coworkers are great (for the most part), but they are a LIVELY bunch. Meaning they congregate behind or around my desk first thing in the mornings and talk about everything under the sun -- often times, kids and their drama -- which of course I can't participate in. I find myself yanking on the headphones and trying to get my work done. I'm glad we all get along, but sometimes it makes it hard to even concentrate.

I had a meeting yesterday that got done about 2 hours early. I stayed in the conf room and worked just for the peace and quiet!

When I took this job in early March, I was told we were moving in a month because we'd doubled in size and were bursting at the seams of the office space. They weren't kidding...we have 12 people and 6 desks. Some work from home and our conference room triples as a lunchroom, meeting room and office for 4. The move was delayed and now it's scheduled for April 17.

Since others are doubled up in cubicles I'm not complaining...I get one to myself.

So I guess my pet peeve isn't that I can always hear everything going on around me (I can tune extraneous noise very well), it's just that there's never a time when there isn't a feeling of too many people in too small a space.

Once we move, I'm sure I'll find another peeve.

secondly, we wont get into her Porno converstations she has with Freak boy on the other side of

the room. sometimes her antics are over the top or just plain annoying. There are days

let me concentrate on my cases. geez..

i with the coffee..allot of people work here and never made a pot..3 of us do all the coffee making..as some empirical research, i made a fresh pot at quitting time..left it on all night..and left a note saying that. ..and those lazy chops..drank it instead of making another one...

my pet peeve: i work in a small company... my office is the congregating spot for everyone... my boss and his wife are soooooooooooooooo unorganized, it drives me crazy... she turns in bills late... or files them before i can put them through quickbooks... and neither one of them know how to file!!! i tell them... just place the folder on my desk... i will file it... but they think they are helping... then when i need it, i can't find it...

i love my job... and my boss and his wife... but at the same time... i hate it...

maybe i should just be thankful i have a job...
