hi how are things?
I have a question about how to fill out the form with a second sponsor,
the uscis asked me for the 864 form again, I suppose my husband could not comply with what they requested so I got a second sponsor.
For that, then I fill out the normal form with the information of the second sponsor or is there something else? If you have any videos, I would also appreciate it.

I assume you are referring to getting a joint sponsor.  The joint sponsor needs to fill out their own individual I864 and if they are married, their spouse should probably also fill out an I864A to be included with the I864 from your joint sponsor.

Are you the petitioner?  Or the immigrant?  Also, you mentioned USCIS is asking you for I-864.  Are you pursuing a spouse visa?  Or adjusting status in the US?

 

In any case, the petitioning sponsor must submit an I-864, whether they have sufficient income or not.  The joint sponsor must submit another I-864, separate from the petitioner's.

I am the immigrant, my husband is the petitioner but it seems that he could not prove the income, I put all his income, enough savings, etc. and still the uscis asked me again for the affidavit format so that is why I will use another sponsor and that's why I ask that.

So it would be another format but with the information of the new sponsor and if he is married, he only has his wife, in that case she would fill out the i-864A form, right?

Submit a complete copy of the petitioning sponsor's Federal income tax return and all supporting tax documents (W-2s, 1099s, Form 2555, and tax schedules) for the most recent tax year.

My husband will be working here for one year in October, he is American, he is not yet 3 years old for the taxes and the minimum they require is 25k and he earns double that, I put the pay tubs, job letter, his certificate USA birth certificate, passport, everything they asked me for and even so they asked me back, I don't know what the mistake was but I better not risk it and use another sponsor.

I'm really worried, I want to do everything right, if you have some guides or videos I would appreciate it. Thanks You!

Submit 3 forms, along with the required supporting financial documents --

• I-864 from your husband, whether he has enough income or not
• I-864 from your joint sponsor, who must have income/assets above the minimum requirement
• I-864A from joint sponsor's wife, if they file taxes jointly

Double-check the forms to make sure they are all properly filled out and signed.

Hello, one question, my main sponsor earns 120k a year, is that enough or can I put my husband as second sponsor as well? with the form I-864A.

If you are adjusting status based on marriage, then your husband is your main sponsor.  Your husband must submit an I-864, even if he has 0 income.  Again --

Yes, but what I am doing right now is with a second sponsor, the second sponsor earns 120k annually, my husband earns 45k annually, I am filling form 864 with the information of the second sponsor, I am filling format 864A with the information of My husband, who earns 45k annually, is that okay or do I do it the other way around?
He told me that he shouldn't put the second sponsor's wife since he says that he earns enough, he doesn't need her support.
