household member has sponsored in the past. Where do I put this info? Cr-1

I'm sponsoring my wife, but due to being a full time student have no income. Therefore, I am using my household members. However, both of my household members have previously sponsored an immigrant for which they are still obligated to take care of. On my I-864, does this add to my household number? In addition, is there anywhere for this information on their I-864a?

The reason I'm adding them as household members is because my sister just went through this process and the NVC rejected her joint sponsorship form and wanted her to do household members instead, and we have pretty much the same financial and living situation as well as the same household members.

Household members for I-864 is TAX household, not the people you live with.

It's the joint sponsor who should list the previously sponsored immigrant on their I-864.

Hi, I'm OP's sister. I originally submitted joint sponsorship and the NVC rejected it and told me to change them to household members. We don't share a tax household. I'm worried the same thing will happen to my brother if he submits under joint sponsorship

To get more clarity. You originally submitted I-864 as a joint sponsor, and listed your previously sponsored immigrants to be counted in the same I864, and NVC rejected it?

No, i submitted I 864 at first, and the NVC requested I change it to household members. It was my sponsor's first time sponsoring anyone. My brother is now trying to bring his wife, and we are wondering whether he should do a joint sponsor form (They are our parents who also sponsored my husband previously) or a household member form like the NVC asked me to do when I went through the process.

I'm still confused. Aren't you related to @jalvarez4Jesus
Who is currently sponsoring someone?
And who is the current joint sponsor?
And who has sponsored immigrants in the past?

My brother is the OP. My parents have helped sponsor my husband in the past. My parents are also willing to act as sponsors for my brother's wife. My brother is trying to decide whether to do a household member or joint sponsor, and my parents would be the joint sponsor or the household members.

+Your brother is the primary sponsor (He fills his own I-864)

+Your dad will be joint sponsor (He fills his own I-864, mom fills I-864A assuming dad & mom file joint taxes). Dad has to include your husband in his I-864 household count)

Now are you saying this is what was done and NVC rejected it?
