Hello, my girl friend who is Colombian and has a very successful business in another country is visiting me at my parents home for 3rd time this year.

she was nervous to say she was visiting a boyfriend. So, she showed a letter my mom messaged to her inviting her to stay at our family home. With all of our names. She is my girlfriend however.

we discuss a future together and her marrying me here. And that would require her to marry me on one of her visits. SHE HAS NO INTENTION OF OVERSTAYING. And will not! We want to do it legally. But I am nervous they will perceive this as deceptive because she never mentioned me as a boyfriend and my mom invited her.

What should we do next time she visits. Our relationship is at a higher level now past friends. We discuss marriage. We love each other.

Your question was answered in your previous thread:

All you can do is have her visit. Tell them she is visiting her boyfriend and friends if she is asked the purpose of her visit.

She will most likely be let in because she has a history of leaving on time.

But she might also have to go through secondary for a grilling.

Have you filed the K1 yet or is that from a previous case?

She is using a tourist visa. We are nervous to change the idea to the officers that we are in a serious relationship. Because when the time comes we get married on one of her visits. Will they deny her and revoke her?

The letter your mom wrote is useless. Your mom has no power or control on CBP decision.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

You should not lie to CBP.

Right. She should have at first said she is visiting her boyfriend. So cutting to the chase. She was nervous to say boyfriend. But now it appears we’re in a lie and am wondering how she can go about saying she is a visiting a boyfriend now without getting revoked. Because when she comes to marry me.. they can call it a fraud. Even though it’s not.

Then tell the truth.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

The questions they ask tend to be pretty simple.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

How do you reccomend going about it. Saying we were friends now at the next level? Will they accept that

My first visit to the US I told them I was visiting  friends.

Second time I said I was visiting a boyfriend.

If they ask follow up questions like : when did you meet, where did you meet, when did you start dating? Your gf should answer those questions.  If they ask “when will you get married?” She should answer that honestly.

There is nothing more to discuss. She has a B1/B2. She can visit. She might not be allowed in. But she might have no issue. You won’t know until she flies to the US.
