hello everyone,

I have my medical exam soon but I'm missing two vaccines that I can't get now because I recently found out that I'm pregnant. I read online that the vaccines are recommended but not required till you apply for a green card?

Am I ''safe'' or could there be any problems that could cost me my visa because of the missing vaccines? I hope anybody can help and calm my mind a little bit. Every answer is appriciated, thank you! :)

Yes, for K1 visa applicants, vaccination prior to or at the visa medical is recommended but not required.  It will be required when you apply to adjust status in the US.  If you go for your AOS medical in the US while you are still pregnant, the civil surgeon will note which of the required vaccines are contraindicated for you because of your pregnancy.

Just note that if you don't complete all the required vaccinations prior to or during your visa medical in Germany, you will be required to repeat the medical in the US for your Adjustment of Status (AOS) process.  If you're lucky, you might find a civil surgeon in the US who will agree to only the transcription of your vaccinations, but most will require (and charge) for a full medical.
