Hello! Members as you see on my post I expedited the case because of circumstances of my wife illness that has no cure of it… to make the story short. My process was taking so long because of the illness and hospitalization, we made a decision to ask nvc regardless of the delay we completed everything that nvc ask civil doc etc… now we got accepted for expedite processing the us embassy made the decision and we have been informed on the ceac website our case currently at the us embassy in Morocco Casablanca.

the main reason for my post is why we should expedite the case when the us embassy take over 48 days now without any response and as the emails I sent to them no response. Can anyone please comfort me about what is going on with this consulate in Casablanca?!

case was sent to embassy and they will schedule it when there is an opening

all the expedite did was get it to the embassy/there are still others ahead of yours already with appointments

u need to be ready at "the drop of a hat " to schedule medical exam and have all documents ready so the AP is not long

Previous post asks question 'what to do now'

USC gets the I 864, and IRS transcripts and proof of US residency to Moroccan spouse , have spouse gather moroccan documents /not copies but originals /i mailed from USA via USPS overnight (10 days Adil had them)

all that to be ready when the embassy notifies u of the interview

email notice of interview,  print it out to take to embassy

documents needed should be on the notice from embassy

also on the Casa webpage

Trust the following site / there is an old site which is not correct as its not updated

So your wife is in Morocco? Who's the visa for? You or her?

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Thank you! @JeanneAdil I’m the applicant and I gathered all my documents together. On this time I was just anxious about my case if it was already received or not. I think I should wait my turn.

yeah,  its hard and it doen't get any easier

but i believe i read past u have been married long enough for the 10 year green card co,  yippe,  no roc down the road

i hope the ds 260 was marked for SS card

make sure the green card fee is paid  after visa is issued / best to pay it before  entering US

i will pray for your wife

"Expedite" does not mean "fast."  The overall timeframe to get the visa may not be much different.

Like you, many try to expedite, and it just creates another long queue.
