My name is Nisreen, a resident of New York, and I’m American citizen, . I have a daughter from the previous marriage, she has severe mental retardation. I have not seen her since she was 3 years old, and she is now 23 years old, since the divorce incident in Jordan. He took her from me now. She is in the government rehabilitation center located in the city of Tafilia in Jordan. She does not have any help, even her father does not ask about her, and I want her to live with me and take care of her, because she has no one for her and she is over the age of 21, and if I make an immigration visa, it will take seven years. Is there a legal way, since I am an American citizen, to help her and bring her here to take care of her as quickly as possible? I am a mother She has not seen her daughter since she was 3 years old, and she is now a young woman, but she is sick and her father wronged her by not taking care of her until she was admitted to a government shelter. My heart aches every day and I want her to come back to my arms. Does anyone have solutions to help bring her to America quickly? It goes by and I think about her and her condition. I am in pain for her and what happened to her. I hope for your help

To immigrate will take longer than 7 years, for those entering now it 8 years and the wait is only going up.

She could try for a visitor visa but that may be a long shot.

Currently, there is no quick way for your adult child from Jordan to immigrate, even if you are a US citizen and even if you or she had a life-or-death condition.
