NVC doesn't know where our case is

Greetings,

We got our NOA2 May 26th.  After 30 days we did the public inquiry and got the expected "we haven't received your case yet, please contact us again in another 30days" message.

So we waited another 30 days from NOA2 and then sent another public inquiry.  This time the reply was that they "have not received any approved petition and was and that they were going to contact the USCIS for us".  A week later we did another public inquiry and they told us they have not gotten a reply from the USCIS and have still not received anything and they asked us to wait an additional 30days before contacting them again.

Is this a typical message after 60days?  Has anyone else experienced this?  Any advice?
