Hi all,

I wanted to share my timeline here.

08/19: arrival in US

08/22: send package

08/23: NOA1

09/15 - received biometrics appointment. This took longer than I expected (usually around 10 days after NOA1). I noticed all cases get updated each Friday of the week

09/18: Biometrics done

09/18: EAD approved - online portal not reflecting this yet, however, USCIS officer confirmed this.

I expect to get the EAD card by end of next week.

Category- F2A (GC holder applying for child under 21)
I-130 filed online 8/8.
AOS packet sans I693 sent 8/19. Arrived at Dallas PO Box 8/22, CC swiped 8/23, text message for I485, I765 receipt numbers received 8/24.

May the waiting game begin. Best of luck to everyone.

Update with a better date format:

8/8/2023 - Submitted I-130 Online

8/21/2023 - I-485, I-765, I-131 Case Received and Receipt Notice Sent

9/5/2023 - I-130 status changed to "Case is being actively reviewed"

9/5/2023 - I-693 Medical requested

I have since then sent in the I-693 RFE and it should arrive at DHS/USCIS tomorrow.
I have not gotten a notice for Biometrics, is this typical? How soon were your Biometrics scheduled? Getting concerned.

Biometrics scheduled for 10/05/2023

I noticed that they still haven't received the RFE I sent.

Congratulations on your appointment! Do you mind saying what your RFE was about?

do you have a job now? If not you may have to find someone to help you prove financially you can take care of the beneficiary. And then you can use their tax return from 2022. If you work now I would send my last tax transcript and my paystubs and a letter stating my employment.
