So if the petitioner moves to a new address a month before the interview, and if the visa consular ask if I know my wife home address what will I tell them  ?

because the paper work and ds260 will have my petition old address she’s been living at for years . And if of course my answer needs to match that.

Should I explain she’s been living at abc for years but currently move to 1234 a month ago ?

If you USC spouse moves to a new address, then answer truthfully, explain your spouse moved since the DS260 was filled out, and the CO can update the information accordingly.  Just make sure you have the new address when you go to the interview.

The CO might also phrase the question like this:

Q: Where will you be living when you move to the US?

Answer: With my wife. (optional: She recently moved to 1234)

Q: Where does she live?

Answer: She just moved. She used to live at ABC now she has moved to 1234.

If there is some evidence of the move. You can take it.

You also want to update the address and keep it on hand at interview and when you  enter the US because this is where they will send your green card - especially

USC petitioner should fill out a new I-864 and send it to you to bring to the interview.

This is not needed for a simple address change.  Just answer all question with the truth.
