CR1 - NVC Stage - Tax Transcript

Hello Everyone,

 

I am currently in the NVC stage with U.S. Embassy of Mumbai, India. I got DQ'd last month and since I paper-filled, my taxes were still in process with the IRS. In this case, I uploaded my IRS Tax Return to NVC which was accepted. Just today, my IRS return was accepted and a tax transcript is available.

 

Should I reach out to NVC to let me upload taxes again? or is the IRS Return fine by itself?

 

If they let me upload the taxes, does my "DQ" date change, and am I put in the back of the pile for interview letter, or do I keep my spot?

You already saw that little word "or" in the instructions.  That's why you uploaded the complete return. So, sure, it's OK, but carry the "Tax RETURN Transcript" to the interview, just in case they want to see it.  There are several "tax transcripts" but only one of them is applicable here.
