I-129f beneficiary's address and work history?

Hi there! New to this forum as my fiance (japanese) and I have just started the K1 visa process after being together since 2019.

 

As I scan through the I-129f form, the question of all places of physical residence in the past 5 years for the beneficiary comes up. My fiance did a 5 month internship in NYC in 2019, and stayed in several different apartments/airbnbs during that time. Would every one of those count as a physical residence, even if only a month at a time? Does it all technically count because he was here on an internship visa (as apposed to vacation), or does it not really matter and not need to be included?

 

A followup question is in regards to the internship. It was unpaid so under the section of all past employment for the last 5 years, would it not count? My guess is it would not count because it was unpaid, but I want to be sure.

Probably the biggest difference between what is considered a residence vs a non-residence is if he had personal mail sent to the address or not. I would certainly say any location he had personal mail sent to him at would be considered a residence.
