You have other choices ..including one who claims his policy positions are Trumpier 😂

I am neither a Democrat or Republican.  Don’t get to choose in the primaries.  And the last time I wasted my vote on a 3rd Party was Perot.  Now, I just vote anti-incumbent for all federal offices, and anti-Leftist for President.

One of 18 co-defendants of former President Donald Trump has pleaded guilty to five charges in the Georgia election interference case.

Bail bondsman Scott Hall has struck a plea deal with prosecutors that requires him to testify against others.

The former Republican poll watcher is accused of trying to gain access to sensitive election equipment in Coffee County, Georgia.

The arrangement marks the first plea deal in the case.

Freedom of Speech will free Trump in Georgia.  Asking someone to find legal votes which have not been counted is not a crime....Jeeze, these people are dense.

Looks like the threats may have pushed the limits

DOJ special counsel cites Trump’s targeting of Milley in push for gag order

Justice Department (DOJ) special counsel Jack Smith on Friday pushed harder for a gag order that would limit what former President Trump can say publicly, citing his recent posts threatening witnesses in the criminal cases against him.

In the post about Milley last week, Trump said the general committed treason and should be executed. That threat drew derision from former Trump administration officials, with Milley responding that he would take “appropriate measures” to protect himself and his family.

“No other criminal defendant would be permitted to issue public statements insinuating that a known witness in his case should be executed; this defendant should not be, either,” prosecutors wrote in Friday’s filing.

That isn't a threat.  It's an opinion.....which is legal under the US Constitution.  If Trump had said "I am going to execute Milley", THAT would have been a threat.  Big, big difference.  Perhaps Trump should have said Milley should be tried and executed for treason.

Yet again, the media is parsing what was actually said, to alter the apparent meaning to meet the agenda that needs to be advanced.

What DJT actually wrote, “[Milley] was actually dealing with China to give them a heads up on the thinking of the President of the United States,” he posted. “This is an act so egregious that, in times gone by, the punishment would have been DEATH!” Alters the meaning entirely.

Rather than saying General Milley should be executed, he said that in the past, such actions would have been punished by death. As the senior officer in the US Military, passing sensitive information to an adversary would be regarded as treason, the punishment for which, especially in time of war, would be death.

so, nothing he wrote was untrue, neither was it a threat. Merely historical perspective.

Jack Smith is reaching again. Apparently, censorship is his specialty.

Exactly!!!!  Imo opinion, Milley DID commit an egregious act ...and he should have been tried.  He had no business going around the CINC.

More than one ex staffer have discussed what he has said and tried to do ..

Why it matters that Trump wanted to court martial retired officers

Two decorated, retired military heroes disapproved of Donald Trump — who wanted to court martial the private citizens for having hurt his feelings.

Read this book , a few years back ..good belly laugh at Truman quote

For brazen disregard, General McChrystal pales in comparison to another general, Douglas MacArthur. During the Korean War, MacArthur was a law unto himself, in matters both big and small. He quarreled defiantly in public with President Truman, agitating for nuclear war. In their eventual confrontation at Wake Island, MacArthur went so far as to arrive first and then order the president’s approaching plane into a holding pattern. MacArthur’s commander in chief would thus arrive on the landing strip appearing to be MacArthur’s supplicant.

In explaining why he subsequently relieved MacArthur of his command, Truman said, “I fired him because he wouldn’t respect the authority of the president. I didn’t fire him because he was a dumb son of a , although he was, but that’s not against the law for generals.” Truman was arguably pulling his punches. He could easily have called MacArthur an
