Yes, but it goes to show the type of folks employed by the DOJ.  You say these agencies will make it right, with folks like these doing the “work” of the government, I really doubt it.  Regardless, where is the world coming to where a former DOJ prosecutor decides he needs to get stabby over a minor fender bender.

And that is , in a nutshell , the Theme of MAGA propaganda ..fear , anger and deeply disturbing emotional manipulation. .

So if you or me ..cooked my books, paid a pornstar hook up w legal fees , played hide and seek w boxes of classified docs , flooded the IT security room , incited violence , tried to find votes , defamed voting machine manufacturers and pushed Big Lie…then you have pretty reasonable chance the Law will “ come for you”…but we get a Day In Court .

 

If you have excellent attorneys..like OJ ..who knows 😂
 

Politicians should , like our service men and women , imagine they are wearing the uniform or cloak of our Constitution/ Laws ..and uphold them no matter the red or blue changing of administrations. 
 

Our government is not our enemy . Our laws /Constitution can change with social needs ..of change . Think slavery, women’s right to vote ..segregation . 
 

But it’s tough to have meaningful conversation..when everything is reduced to conspiracies .

You can replace "MAGA" with "government" and you get the same thing.  When there is overwhelming evidence of different justice systems depending on the the power of the person involved, or some other Leftist defined demographic, it does not take much to see the bureaucracy is taken over.  It does not take much to see that the DC cancer is spreading down the ranks at agencies like the DOJ, FBI, EPA, etc.  You put a lot of faith in government making it right when you have been through various systems like USCIS, or the SSA.  Look at the story in the other thread where a lady is still having troubles after more than 10 years because some nameless bureaucrat decided to declare her dead in the SSA system.  Interesting, the government so far has not made it right.  Yes, we can have change, whether it is progress or not is debatable, but one thing that needs to change is accountability of the federal bureaucracy.  Members of the bureaucrat class should face personal lawsuits when they disrupt someone's life, they should face loss of employment and pension when they decide things based on politics.  Do your job in a non-partisan fashion, apply the laws and rules equally, and you should be fine. 

 

I do agree, the government should not be our enemy, but it certainly can become the enemy, and we are certainly seeing this occur now.  I personally detest Donald Trump, but I can see the government agencies need disruption.
