New York judge rules Trump committed fraud and lied about his net worth for years

The judge, Arthur Engoron, also denied Trump's bid to dismiss the New York attorney general's $250 million lawsuit against him and his company.

 

According to the ruling, which allows the civil trial to begin next week, Trump lied to banks and insurers by both overvaluing and undervaluing his assets when it was to his benefit, while at the same time exaggerating his net worth to the tune of billions of dollars

Trump has not exhausted legal challenges, yet. He gets to appeal decision and still has pending filings on appeal . ..it will be interesting to see how the 10 day deadline to dissolve and get out of Dodge will play out.

For a lawsuit, there needs to be a victim, where were the banks that were defrauded?  If Trump over estimated his worth, does NY owe him a tax refund?  If a bank took his word for the value of something, I would like to know which ones as I would not want to invest in a company that does not do due diligence in a large business transaction.

 

Just saying all people of NY are the victims are a cop out.  Explain how we are all victims of Trump based on this lawsuit?

So, the judge, an acknowledged Democrat, undervalued one property out of all the assets under consideration, by as much as $250M? Or, put another way, by over 90%?
