Evidence from Trump’s own staff ,  attorney and 3rd parties who were shown classified documents is compelling…has anyone on VJ read the Charging Document?

Having read the indictment, these are very serious allegations. And I can’t defend what is alleged. But the President is entitled to his day in court.

What is there to read.  What Old Corrupt Joe Biden did was even worse keeping top secret documents completely unsecured for years and allowed his lawyers without security clearance review them before finally returning them.  The Trump thing is fine, but the fact that we have a DoJ making charging decisions based on politics is troubling.  Do you have a problem with that?

If this is allowed to go all the way to trial, then ANY Republican administration will have little option but to go scorched earth on previous administration names (Biden, Clinton, likely Pence, too) to appease the base. And their “crimes” are more easily proven, as none of them were President at the time they mishandled the documents.

Pursuing these indictments has nothing to do with an actual crime and everything to do with a concerted effort to prevent DJT from regaining the White House. What the DOJ and FBI fail to realize is the ANY Republican who gains the White House, be it DJT or someone else, is going to be under intense pressure to rip out the senior levels at both organizations and replace them with a more balanced ideological outlook. Only for the GOP base, that balance is to swing both as far right as they are currently to the left, if not further.

They have sown the wind, they will reap the whirlwind.

Exactly right.  Biden needs to nip this in the bud right now.....out of self interest. Biden's head will be on the chopping block (figure of speech)....

and I think those who hate and fear Trump (Biden's handlers) have no qualms about dooming Biden.  They are liberals.  They operate out of emotion rather than logic or forethought about the consequences of their actions.  I could list a great number of examples.

Trump Lawyer Is Facing His Own Legal Headache

One of Donald Trump's newest attorneys is facing a legal headache of his own as he navigates the former president's legal woes.

As Todd Blanche defends his new, high-profile client against the Florida federal indictment, two of his ex-clients have sued him and his former New York-based law firm Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft on allegations of legal malpractice.

Now this seems more of a bombshell than any Leftist attorney orgasming over the latest Trump indictment.  And given the events of the DoJ going after Joe Biden's political enemy all while leaving him alone for doing worse seems to add credence to the banana republic nature of our establishment in DC.

Great analysis, very well written and not full of hyperbole.  It is interesting that the DoJ was trying to blackmail the lawyer (Woodward) representing Trump's aide Walt Nauta, it doesn't suwrprise me though as the Left will cross every ethical line.

I also found this in the Twitter Thread.  More proof of our DC Establishment banana republic condition.  Hmm, following the Andrew Weissmann playbook I see.

The DOJ And Special Counsel Jack Smith’s Sordid History Of Weaponizing The Espionage Act

Barely two weeks ago, the lawfare cabal at Just Security, led by Andrew Weissmann, the former senior prosecutor for the Robert Mueller special counsel investigation, released the second edition of their “model prosecution memorandum” to (presumably) help out his former colleagues at the Department of Justice (DOJ). The document seeks to offer up nearly any theory of law to “get Trump.”

Just Security bills itself as “an online forum for the rigorous analysis of security, democracy, foreign policy, and rights,” but in practice, the organization, funded in part by George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, is the legal beachhead of the Trump resistance. Their model document provides 186 pages of “throw the book at him” musings along with 222 separate footnotes and has largely telegraphed the DOJ’s legal strategy. The document is supported by a variety of public and nonpublic allegations (surely a mixture of leaked information and fabricated information if history is any guide). The fact that their roadmap nearly parallels the now-public indictment of former President Donald Trump is surely a coincidence.y
