Gracias for finding the ongoing thread, Maven ma'am.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Isn't that what law enforcement does? Police investigate crimes, and attorneys prosecute the suspects for their crimes.

The third indictment against former president Donald Trump was released Tuesday. Trump faces four charges in connection with what prosecutors allege was a plan to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

The released indictment below details the full charges, including conspiring to defraud the United States, conspiring to obstruct an official proceeding, obstructing a congressional proceeding and conspiracy against rights:

Trump allies charged in connection with conspiracy to breach voting machines in Michigan

Former Michigan GOP attorney general candidate Matt DePerno and former state Rep. Daire Rendon were charged with violating Michigan election law Tuesday in Oakland County Circuit Court.

he charges stem from a special prosecutor's investigation into an alleged conspiracy to breach voting machines orchestrated by allies of former President Donald Trump who fought the results of the 2020 election.

I do appreciate your thoughts and crafty post..and though your grave concerns over Biden ‘s impecability ( oops you may have meant impeachability ) …Trump crimes stand and merit scrutiny on their own.

Unless of course you are ok with all of the texts, video , audio and witness statements that so far back up every charge. And as you pointed out..Jack has a great deal more reserved for trial.

The Others ..will face their own battles if / when the wheels of Justice turn…

I could not resist and looked up  Greek Salon …they called him a Statesman ..sounds loftier than modern day politician 😂…but lo and behold it’s not much different…and to think he was a magistrate too

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solon

According to Diogenes Laertius, in 594 BC, Solon was chosen archon, or chief magistrate.[17] As archon, Solon discussed his intended reforms with some friends. Knowing that he was about to cancel all debts, these friends took out loans and promptly bought some land. Suspected of complicity, Solon complied with his own law and released his own debtors, amounting to five talents (or 15 according to some sources). His friends never repaid their debts

It's funny how republicans (note, not conservatives, I still have hope for Libertrians and anarcho-capitalists) 30 years ago waxed poetic about statesmen like Demosthenes, and have since moved on to a moral relativist like Solon.

I'm going to merge the old thread into the more recent thread -- overlap is obvious.

This latest Jack Smith absurdity is really laughable...but it is a direct assault on Trump's freedom of speech, among other things such as political persecution.  This will go down in flames as it strengthens Trump.  The Biden administration and the other democrats have created a politically motivated DOJ and ridiculous impeachments which will have unintended consequences sooner or later.  Biden will be the useful idiot who pays a price.  If Biden had any sense left (which is pretty obvious), he would pardon Trump.

Some  Republican reaction to Jan 6 unsealed indictment:

Today's indictment serves as an important reminder: Anyone who puts himself over the Constitution should never be president of the United States,

Stronger statements came from rank outsiders. One, Will Hurd, stuck to a position which last week saw him booed in Iowa.

“Trump’s presidential bid is driven by an attempt to stay out of prison and scam his supporters into footing his legal bills,” the former Texas congressman said. “Furthermore, his denial of the 2020 election results and actions on January 6 show he’s unfit for office.”
