Gosh I forgot how ugly that bathroom was.

 

The orange cat was a pain though. He liked to scratch the toilet paper and we would find it shredded everywhere. 

 

We've been busy fixing that bathroom up and will not go back to toilet training the kitties.

This brings to mind when I had Cat T-B. #1, years ago.

Once, I awoke toward morning and needed to de-water.

I lurched into the bathroom without glasses and in dim light.

I was about to do my business when I thought that I'd spotted a gray blur.

I squinted at the blur, see man.

It was Cat T-B. #1, drinking from the toilet, si man.

I nearly pissed on my cat, pee man!

HOW TO CLEAN A CAT

1.  Thoroughly clean the toilet.
2.  Add a requisite amount of shampoo to the toilet tank.
3.  Find the cat and carry him to the bathroom.

4.  In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids (you may need to stand on the lid so that he cannot escape).  CAUTION:  Do not get any part of your body too close to the edge, as his paws will be reaching out for anything he can find.

5.  Flush the toilet three or four times.  This provides a "power wash and rinse" that has been found to be quite effective.

6.  Have someone open the door to the outside and ensure that there are no people between the toilet and the outside door.

7.  Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids.

8.  The now-clean cat will rocket out of the toilet and run outside, where he will dry himself.

Trying the Doctor Elsey's litter posted above. It's better then the really cheap Walmart stuff I had in the closet for spills  Not as dusty, clay smell is not as strong either. It's not that great for the auto cat box. Breaks up the clumps and they get all over the grate. It is cheaper then the Crystals so we will see how much time we get out of it.

I just found out that cats get heart worm too. I was always told it was not an issue with cats. 

 

Well it turns out cats do cat heartworm and they don't show symptoms until they're dead 😥 No treatment for cats unlike the dogs.

Cat T-B. hacked a gigantic hairball last night and left a couple of other large liquid gastric deposits.

All readily up-cleaned with use of Spic 'n' Span.

Just took Cat T-B. to the beauty salon for a 4-wheel manicure.

Traumatic.  She screamed all the way there and all the way back.

She wasn't catchable during a serving of treats.

Had to serve her an early lunch and nab her right after setting the bowl down.

If she weren't such a piglet, she'd never trust me again during meal service.

However, unlike Cats T-B. #1 & #2, she doesn't recognize the carrier when it's present, so that's a boon.

Daughter trims all the cats nails. She is very good at it since she had that demon cat Tazz. 

 

Kittens are adjusting really well. The Jedi woke me up this morning because of of them barfed on the floor of his room. Looked like she ate too fast. 

 

I have threaten one of the weasels life if he doesn't start leaving the kittens alone. 

 

I think if they get him a few more times he may learn. They have figured he is too dumb to catch them and he's too short to get them up on the chairs. 

They are not afraid of the 110lb lab unless he is excited for food. But that is  more for a crushing fear then of him getting them.

I never thought I would have a cat. I was out with Neck surgery and a coworker brought over a kitten about 2 weeks old. I promised the wife it would be gone as soon as it could eat food.  I bottle feed it , helped it go to the bathroom etc.

 

3 years later that cat is the spoiled ruler of the house.
