CENOMAR / Packet 3 Questions, K1 Visa [merged threads]

Hello Everyone, I am the petitioner and was born and raised in the Philippines til age 21. I am now 29 and a US Citizen, do i also need a CENOMAR? or only my fiance?

we just received our Packet 3 last week 7/25/23. NOA2 approved 4/4/2023.

Also, does anybody here know how can the Philippines Statistics Authority (PSA) send the CENOMAR directly to the US Embassy if my fiance is not in the Philippines? can we apply online? thanks for the repsonse!

I assume your fiance is Filipino.  Both you (the USC petitioner) and your fiance need CENOMAR.  You can order CENOMAR online.

Yes she is a Filipina but working in Singapore, just confused as to why its not stated in Packet 3 that i also need a Cenomar as the petitioner. I wouldnt even know if i didnt read a random comment in this forum,  crazy process...

 

Thank you foe the response. So i also need to send my Cenomar to her embassy? 

 

Do you have any other hidden requirements not stated in the packet 3?

Because it is probably very rare for a K1 applicant in Singapore to have a petitioner who is former Filipino or dual PH/US citizen.  It's possible that your fiancee will not be asked for petitioner's CENOMAR.  But if the CO in Singapore realizes that you were born and raised in the PH, they might issue a 221g and delay the case if they don't have your CENOMAR on file.  Up to you if you want to preempt that, or if you'd rather wait if they issue 221g.

Oh i will definitely get the CENOMAR, just wondering if there are other hidden requirements similar to this that is not in the Packet 3.

 

Last question, do i need to send my CENOMAR to her embassy in SG? Or just give it to my fiance?

Have PSA send it directly to the embassy in SG.  Unlike Manila, it seems they don't accept CENOMAR hand-delivered by the visa applicant.

Yeah thats the instructions to her CENOMAR, needs to be sent by PSA directly to embassy.

Hi Chancy, i have a question. When returning back the checklist for packet 3 i-134. Should we also include the supporting documents? (Employment letter, Tax return, W2 form, assets statements)?

I134 without supporting documents is meaningless

Hope everyone's having a good day! I have a question. can we send back our Packet 3 with (the signed 1 page from packet 3, I-134 docs, DS-160 confirmation page) while the CENOMAR and police clearance certificates are still in process?

Here's the link to our "packet 3 & 4".  I don't see anything about signing and "sending back" anything in particular. Maybe I'm misunderstandng.
