Hello everyone! Me and my wife(Russian) got DQ'd on 06/29 and still haven't received an interview letter from NVC. I wanted to create this thread to see how fast people are getting their interview letters. If you already received or still waiting for your interview letter at Warsaw embassy, could you share the details? Thank you!

There is also a thread started by @MosCali who was DQ'd June 12.

Waiting to hear if they got the interview letter yet. Others who were DQ'd during the past winter/spring got their interview letters around the 21-24th of the month. I was DQ'd July 6 and I'm estimating (hoping) that my letter will come at the end of August, for an interview sometime early October.

BTW, it's helpful to the community if everyone creates their timeline and keeps it current. That makes it easy to find this info in one place rather than scattered in various threads. However, I don't see in the timeline any place to mark "received interview letter", which would be a helpful data point.

I heard back from @MosCali. They were DQ June 12, got the interview letter already (end of July I assume), with the interview Sep. 19. So I'm confident now that I (and you) will be getting the IL this month. I was DQ July 6.

USCIS approved the I-130 May 18. I was able to login to the CEAC I think the same day or the next day. Payment, case creation and those initial steps happened very quickly. Started uploading documents May 24. The NVC reviewed documents faster than their published estimated timelines. After their first review, they requested domicile proof (which I had carelessly overlooked) and some additional tax documents (they are very interested in 1099s). I uploaded those additional documents quickly but noticed a week later that I had forgotten to push the "submit" button. Duh! I hit "submit" on June 22 and again, they reviewed the documents faster than I expected.

I work remotely but I've always used my parents address, which is on all my latest tax returns. What can I do to prove domicile? I don't have ownership of the property or a rental agreement.

Perhaps have your parents execute an affidavit to attest to your domicile, and get their signatures notarized.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I have the same situation. Here's what I sent for domicile proof:

- current US driver's license

- personal bank account statement which I actively use

- current business license (I have a partnership registered in the US)

- business bank account contract with my name shown there with the US address

- I also had my mom write a letter stating that we would be coming as guests to her place (the address I use) but would be seeking our own place when we got there

- finally, I cooked up an email thread with my brother about a rental property that is available to us. It's actually a real offer, but we did the emailing just for the sake of domicile proof. Or I should say, intent of establishing domicile.

Oh, and you also need to write your own statement that you are planning to establish domicile. In that letter I wrote that I have always worked remotely (whether in the US or overseas) but have always filed US taxes. For that letter I modified a template that I found right here on this forum! Thank you again, VisaJourney :)

Thanks. So, if I do this in advance, proactively, it should be fine? The only thing I can't match is the business license, and I have a bank account but I don't really use it actively... I can still provide a US bank account statement that shows I've kept funds there for a long time though.

I mean, also I have multiple jobs in the USA which I have active paystubs for...

I'm working remotely for a couple of US based companies (one is actually in Europe though, but I've never been to that country). And I go back to the USA for a few months of the year.
