My NOA2 was 30th August...I will send an inquiry the last week of this month....hopefully they will have my case and case number🥲🤞

My NOA2 was a week before you, and NVC has already received my case (about 14 days).  I expect a case number i

I could  be wrong, but I estimate they will create a case number by 9/22 for me, and 9/29 for you. Lets see.

What can you do once you have a case number??

You will be able to check the status of your case on CEAC website once you have a case number: at NVC, in Transit and Ready

I also think you need the case number to be able to schedule your interview at the Embassy (pls someone correct me if Im wrong)🤔

Hello guys I’m new to this group!

Noa1 august 15 2022

Noa2 August 7 2023

I submitted an inquiry with the NVC on September 1st and they responded on Thursday saying they received my case but it’s still waiting for data entry.
I just submitted another inquiry last night to see what they say since it takes a couple days for them to respond.

my question is once I receive the case number do I have to wait to receive the notice in the mail or can I proceed with the next steps

How do you know they received your case already? My NOA@ was approved on 8/22 and I am dying to know but cant find where to look and see that NVC received it.

Public inquiry form: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html
or email NVCResearch@state.gov, attach your NOA2, WAC as a subject, write your full name, DOB, your fiancé's full name and their DOB (this one is just for received, no case numbers are given)

My NOA2 was just after you, and NVC received my case .. so most likely they recevied yours too.  Now we just need to wait about week or two for the case number

Question, the welcome letter the NVC sends after case creation is it through mail or email?

The K1-FTP email is sent when NVC ships your case to the embassy. Comes through email to the petitioner (and lawyer if applicable).

Petitioner will receive it by email

I have seen some beneficiaries also get the Welcome Letter by mail in their home country, but this seems pretty random🤔

The NVC responded to my 2nd inquiry and I received my case number 🙏🏻

When I try to login to the nvc and create an account it says I need an invoice number. Does anyone now about this?
or am I doing it wrong

this must be done for spousal visas. you only need to check the status.

Elena, NVC received my case. noa2 August 28 (26 on paper form). I sent a request on Sunday and received a response today.
