how can I get through to the NVC?

Does anyone know a way to get through to an operator at the NVC? Their phone system has been f*cked up for over a week now.

Or does anyone have any magical powers that could help? I'm starting to think it's the ONLY way I'll get through.

The last few times I have tried over the weekend, once you have gone through all the pressing 1's & 2's its winding up putting you through to an operator.....so I guess the automated service is still messed up. You should be able to get through by pressing 5, from memory, to speak to an operator.

I just called 10 minutes ago and was directed to an operator. I hang up, though, because I didn't want to wait for the operator (besides I don't think I'll get any real update today. Might try on Wednesday again).

Thanks, I'll try the 5 thing. I already let it direct me to an operator but then it hung up on me. They reeeeeeeally don't want me leaving Canada.

The system is really f'd up. I just kept trying and eventually got thru. It really is frustrating.

yeah, it always connects tries to connect you to an operator but i can never actually get through. It hangs up on me no matter what time I call. At 11 at night, all operators are still busy and they kick me off.

I decided to just email them. Just wanted to know if they got my I-864 and if everything was ok.

I called this morning at 8:00 AM (EST) and was able to get somebody after only waiting for 1 minute. I pressed 1 for english, then 5 for an operator and I got through.

Yeah, I ended up getting through yesterday. Pressed 1 and then 5, waited for about 2 or 3 minutes, and got an operator.

I want to know if my AOS bill and DS-230 generated, but I tried again and again, and I can't put in the case number,it goes directly to theoperator,and she won't help.

They didn't reply my e-mail...

Then I have to wait they snail -mail me.

Unfortunately yes bears Its a pain in the butt and not much can do about it. I sent them an email today too.....I need my fix somehow

had the same problem , but always get an operator.

just picked up a new techy toy when I was in florida

linksys cordless skype phone, tried it out getting updates from nvc.

but was hoping just for automated.

operator told me that our 864 AND 230

anyhow op told me that they had been entered on same day

fri mar 24th , thats good cos we sent them in same envelope.

I am the agent/benny but was visiting florida for a month

of course 230 arrived the day I left canada.

anyhow they remind of the "soup nazi" on seinfeld.

I feel sorry for asking how the case is proceeding even after paying up front

for such bloody slow service.

so I counted to 10 and did not dare ask "miss" when the case will complete.

thought I would outflank them and listen on auto responce.

but they really want to hear our nervous questions.
