Naturalized USC need to submit naturalization certificate? I-130

I'm petitioning for my spouse's CR-1 as a naturalized USC. I seem to be getting conflicting forum discussion on the need for uploading and providing my old a-number.

Could someone please help me understand if this is needed at all for my I-130 application? Is the US passport good enough?

not needed but can't hurt to put it on petition

Adil included it on passport application after naturalizing /its in upper right hand corner of the naturalization certificate

For some reason, I assumed it would hurt it, this is just my personality of thinking through all the cases.

In that case, I assume y'all filled out the following details if included.

Thank you, I'll go ahead and submit!

As you move forward, if a question applies to you, answer it.  This falls in that category.  Your A number is applicable too.  That is asked for on page1.

In your case, uploading the Certificate of Naturalization seems more practical than every page of your passport.

whether you provide it or not, I expect USCIS will find it, and link it to the case

For i-130, a U.S. passport is enough. For the visa it might be enough.

Passport is enough for both, but I would much rather submit a one page certificate than every page of a passport.

Either way, the A number question and certificate number are applicable, so should be answered.

Of course USCIS will find them.  Make it easy for them, by providing the information they ask for.
