Seeking any advice on my case.

Hello, I'm looking for some guidance about my case. I have been without going to the US for seven years without re-entry. Before leaving, I had applied for a re-entry permit, which has already expired, as well as my green card. Additionally, I applied for an SB1 visa, but it was denied.

Now, I'm planning on taking my chances and flying out. Is there anything I need to know before boarding or after I land? I'm pretty sure they are going to ask me a lot of questions, and there is a big possibility I might be denied entry. Should I need to sign something? Or do I have to avoid signing anything? Any advice is appreciated.

Also, it's better if I just filed an i-90 file and have the receipt? Can I apply for it while being out?

The last question I have is I'm from the Dominican Republic, can an airline deny the board just because my green card is expired or do I have several years without going?
My father became a U.S. citizen when I was a minor. Is there any possibility that I can acquire citizenship through him since I was a minor? I became a LPR in 2010. He became a citizen in 2007.

I know it was 100% my fault.  Just trying to know my chances.

You were a LPR since 2010 and toyve never naturuliall this while? Why?

@Mike Eis an expert on this. But you're about to pay expensively for a one time use document. Should have naturalized..that was a cheaper option

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Is he your biological father?  How old were you in 2010?  Did your father have physical and legal custody of you in the US in 2010?  Do you have documentary evidence of that?

Just to be clear -- your GC is a 10-year one, right?

Legally, not possible.

Some airlines will not  board you with an expired 10 year gc, though legally they can. Avoid Delta airlines.

I have interacted with several people who have found themselves with expired GCs in the DR. None have ever escaped except one who found out he was a citizen.

Apparently there is a cabal among all customer facing workers across all airlines in the DR to deny boarding.

Puerto Rico is so close to the DR, yet so far away. Got any friends with boats?

How old were you when you became an LPR?

I see no chance the embassy will give OP a boarding foil.

Unless OP is a U.S. citizen (and can prove it) or OP can find a way to Mexican / U.S. border, I think OP is stranded.

13.

And you lived with your father at any time  between the day you became an LPR and the day before your turned age 18?
