Upgrading I-130 petition

Hello,

My daughter's case is still at NVC awaiting the interview schedule. I am a Green card holder and planning to become a USC. Would it expedite my daughter's case if I become a USC or just wait as an LPR till the petition journey is over?

Priority Date: 07 June 2012

Your daughter's PD is not current, so not in line for interview yet.  Not current = no way to expedite.  Only those cases with PD earlier than listed in Table A of the visa bulletin will be in line for interview.  If you become a US citizen, there's a slight chance (but no guarantee) that your daughter's case could be current sooner, as F1 (Philippines) is slightly ahead of F2B, as of the Aug 2023 visa bulletin -- https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2023/visa-bulletin-for-august-2023.html
