In your experience, have you made a mistake on your I-130 and not gotten an RFE for it?

Silly me put in a date for marriage ended on current marriage when in fact i'm still married SMDH:

Prepare for RFE

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

You can wait for the RFE and submit a correction of that page and have a separate paper explaining you made a mistake and there is the corrected paper. As long no other document are missing, I think that should be ok.

If no RFE shows up yet, you can try to re-submit the correction so no other question can be brought up for not correcting it right away during the interview. Hopefully that make sense.

I've not done any correction for a case like this but I do hope someone can chime in and have their say. :)

Type a short one page letter , call it :

“Addendum to I-130 / Ben name / dob and Pet name dob

Request for correction of unintentional typographical  Page x, item y should be z.” Sign and upload it…you will avoid RFE

Honestly, It's confusing while filling the file. They have an ending date field on current marriage and you can make this mistake anytime. I have this on N400 and it went through without any issues.

yeh i didnt mean to add ending date to current marriage. Do you mean you made this mistake on N400 and it got overlooked?

That's correct. They ignored that on my filling form.

well fingers crossed. I uploaded a letter explaining the corrections of that part on that page and I uploaded the correct page with correct entries and my current marriage certificate (just in case)

If you filed online it's quite a common glitch.  We did as others suggested and added a letter to correct it in unsolicited evidence and was approved without RFE.

I entered my mom's birthday for my dad on our i-130 and was able to correct it -- I documented how I solved it here

You can correct typographical errors on your own at https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayTypoForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=typoError

I hope that helps! It's a small hassle but it will be ok -- we didn't have to to a RFE
