US Embassy Jerusalem - Criminal Record Question

Hello!

We will be having our interview in Jerusalem once we get through NVC

I heard from someone that the US embassy in Jerusalem only accepts criminal records that are mailed directly to them from the country where the record is obtained; and that they will not take records handed to them or uploaded to them by the applicant.

Is this true? Does anyone have experience with criminal records in Jerusalem? Kind of freaking out because I am not even sure how we would have the country mail it directly to them.

Thank you so much for your help!

Did you have your interview in Jerusalem or you still waiting

I submitted once to NVC already, and they rejected me, so I am resubmitting again tomorrow. It is all a pain 😕 I can update once there is a change

My friend told me .. but I am honestly not even sure where she heard it, and I am a bit irritated because I feel I was worried for no reason. That is why I wanted to clarify, but so far, I haven't found any info out there that supports what my friend told me. 🤷‍♀️
