MRV Fee paid but Interview scheduling won't unlock

Hi everyone,

Our case showed "ready" at the end of last week and we logged into the "portal USA Travel docs" site, completed everything and paid the MRV fee. (DS160 completed last month)

It took about 2 days for our payment # to show up automatically in the entry field.

Once we click continue we get a popup stating:"Your request to schedule an appointment has been received and will be reviewed. You will receive an email once your request is approved."

I have to add that we never got any welcome letter by NVC. We only found out our case # by inquiry. We haven't received anything from the Frankfurt Consulate either.

We are rather nervous that we are missing something or made a mistake.

Any fellow Germans who got that same popup and how long till the Interview scheduling unlocked? Did you actually receive an email, or just kept on trying?
