Canadian Citizen applying for TN visa while waiting for F2A interview in montreal

My wife is Canadian Citizen and has degree in profession in which TN visa can be granted. I (LPR) has petitioned her (F2A). We both are living in Canada right now (I have reentry permit). Her salary in Canada is subpar and looking for better pay. Would it be possible for her to apply for TN visa without jeopardizing her F2A process? Her priority date was current till last month till it got retrogressed to 08July17.

Any inputs will be appreciated.

Applying to enter as a TN is possible, but given the pending F2A, I would expect denial.

Are you returning to the U.S. every 179 days or less?

Does she have an offer

TN is non immigrant but may have a reasonable chance

Good. That way you will not interrupt continuous residency for purposes of naturalization.

Given your travel pattern, presumably as an LPR you are on track to have at least 30 months of physical presence once you are eligible to file N-400.
