According to the USCIS you are a July filer. Your application was accepted for processing by the USCIS on July 27.

According to the VJ people who participate in these 'filer' threads you may be something else. But what difference does it make?

I'm not sure I understand. My AOS was sent on July 24th . On the NOA1 it says date received July 27th and notice date August 1st. Does that mean I should be a July filer ????????

No you're good. You are the first August filer since your NOA date is August 1st.

From what I've seen you're considered a filer of the month your NOA was printed out.

Lol I don't really care what I am so long as they got it. Please note everyone that I had to send my I 485 to Texas and not the Chicago Lockbox. My case is the same ( I485) yet very different because I'm filing my I 485 due to an approved Vawa petition. I have had to send it to Texas so that the Immigration Judge can terminate my removal proceedings. Now I have the receipt I need to send all the paperwork to the judge.

Don't worry about comparing my timeline to yours. I'm still heading for the same goal but in a different way

I understood all of it. What's your point?

I thought it was obvious. But at any rate - I don't understand how you can't see that Shona's case is different from the others in this thread (or how it's somehow 'fishy').
