I had my interview in Baltimore, MD this morning. I updated my timeline and described the interview in there. It was surprisingly easy, though the sheer number of people waiting to be interviewd was incredible. She said she was recommending us for approval but that our file will probably be reviewd one more time by another officer. She said to expect the GC in ~3 months (seems long does it not

? ). She let me keep my I-94 for my H1B visa though which allowed me to work and travel, so I am not too concerned if it takes a month or two to get here. I will let you all know whent he actual approval email and then the GC comes in. Thanks to everyone on VJ for their endless advice and help. I hope I can give some of that to people on here as well.

June 29, 2007 : Erin and Muraari's Wedding in Seattle, WA (YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

July 24, 2007: Mailed all paperwork to Chicago (Wish us luck)

Aug 31, 2007: Biometrics Appointment

Sep 1, 2007: Received NOA1 (Dated Aug 29)

Nov 25, 2007: Received notice for interview in Baltimore, MD (No touches, nothing online to date)

Jan 22, 2008: Interview in Baltimore, MD. Went well.

Jan 29, 2008: Can finally track I-130 online. Approved.

Jan 31, 2008: Email I-485 "Card production ordered"

Feb 5, 2008: Another email I-485 "Card production ordered"

Feb 7, 2008: Received I-130 approval and I-485 "Welcome to America Letter" in snail mail

Hello,

I had my interview yesterday in Baltimore.

We were with the IO for about 15 min. A few easy questions and my I94 was removed as well.

Just like you I was recommended for approval.

He said thet he will have my file review by his supervisor and if everything is fine,I will get the GC. If not they may ask for furthur info.

I ask if my name had clear the FBI. The IO said that everything look good.

I asked for a stamp in my passport because I never received my work permit and he says he could not do that.

Where am I..... I feel like I am in limbo.

My girlfriend had her interview in the same day as well and got the same result.

Can anyone let me know of other case like that?

I had my interview in Baltimore, MD this morning. I updated my timeline and described the interview in there. It was surprisingly easy, though the sheer number of people waiting to be interviewd was incredible. She said she was recommending us for approval but that our file will probably be reviewd one more time by another officer. She said to expect the GC in ~3 months (seems long does it not

? ). She let me keep my I-94 for my H1B visa though which allowed me to work and travel, so I am not too concerned if it takes a month or two to get here. I will let you all know whent he actual approval email and then the GC comes in. Thanks to everyone on VJ for their endless advice and help. I hope I can give some of that to people on here as well.

Hello,

I had my interview yesterday in Baltimore.

We were with the IO for about 15 min. A few easy questions and my I94 was removed as well.

Just like you I was recommended for approval.

He said thet he will have my file review by his supervisor and if everything is fine,I will get the GC. If not they may ask for furthur info.

I ask if my name had clear the FBI. The IO said that everything look good.

I asked for a stamp in my passport because I never received my work permit and he says he could not do that.

Where am I..... I feel like I am in limbo.

My girlfriend had her interview in the same day as well and got the same result.

Can anyone let me know of other case like that?

? ). She let me keep my I-94 for my H1B visa though which allowed me to work and travel, so I am not too concerned if it takes a month or two to get here. I will let you all know whent he actual approval email and then the GC comes in. Thanks to everyone on VJ for their endless advice and help. I hope I can give some of that to people on here as well.

I had my interview yesterday in Baltimore.

We were with the IO for about 15 min. A few easy questions and my I94 was removed as well.

Just like you I was recommended for approval.

He said thet he will have my file review by his supervisor and if everything is fine,I will get the GC. If not they may ask for furthur info.

I ask if my name had clear the FBI. The IO said that everything look good.

I asked for a stamp in my passport because I never received my work permit and he says he could not do that.

Where am I..... I feel like I am in limbo.

My girlfriend had her interview in the same day as well and got the same result.

Can anyone let me know of other case like that?

I'm so frustraded it's been 6 months now and they just keep on sending me letter requesting more information on things i've already sent them. When does this madness stop? The 1st time they reguested my income tax return, which I had already sent them a copy of it. The 2nd RFE they wanted proof of my divorce which I already had sent them and the 3rd letter copy of my marriage lic. which i had already sent them all this info. on the AOS PACKAGE.!!!!! What the heck!!! :help:
