Hi Jerricho,

This is normal in fact that is exactly what mine said.....after it was transferred. Then three weeks after the transfer i was approved!!!!

Thankyou. It would be great if mine approved for Christmas.

Yesterday we recieved a letter from USCIS. It states that Wendy has an 'inital interview' on the 23rd of January. I have searched and could not find any info on what exactly is an 'intial interview' Sounds like there will be more than 1 interview?? Is this good or bad??

I just received one too for my application, I have my interview date set as 15th of January. I hope the initial interview is just the regular interview as I haven't really heard of multiple interviews. Glad I finally have the date.

July 20: Mailed I-130 for both parents.

July 22: NOA 1 Priority Date

July 28: Received NOA1 in mail.

Yesterday we recieved a letter from USCIS. It states that Wendy has an 'inital interview' on the 23rd of January. I have searched and could not find any info on what exactly is an 'intial interview' Sounds like there will be more than 1 interview?? Is this good or bad??

I just received one too for my application, I have my interview date set as 15th of January. I hope the initial interview is just the regular interview as I haven't really heard of multiple interviews. Glad I finally have the date.

I hear ya; I got a touch on Nov 2, then nothing between then and Nov 23, then nothing since. I'm not worried or anything but it's still unsettling.

2005-04-14: met online

2005-09-03: met in person

2007-02-26: filed for K-1

2007-03-19: K-1 approved

2007-06-11: K-1 in hand

2007-07-03: arrived in USA

2007-07-21: got married, yay!

2007-07-28: applied for green card

2008-02-19: conditional green card in hand

2010-01-05: applied for removal of conditions

2010-06-14: 10-year green card in hand

2013-11-19: applied for US citizenship

2014-02-10: became a US citizen

Good news, we had our interview yesterday and were approved, and the passport was stamped for a temporary green card! Please update the list to reflect this.

Thank you for all the advice and information I've gleaned from this board in the last few months. Good luck to all those who are waiting. I'm off to the lifting conditions forum!

Be patient..... I had no touch on mine since I mailed out the RFE at the end of Sept . I actually call the toll free number because I have not received my approved EAD. I did mention to them that I was approching the 60 days mark for the I 485 and less than 10 days after I received my interview letter.
