Question for you my friend. I mailed off my wife's AOS package and Chicago received it July 31st. I did not send the seperate travel and work documents. I checked this morning August 28th and my money orders still have not been cashed. My wife was hoping to get everything approved so she could travel back to Colombia for the Christmas holidays. I don't think this will happen now. I'm thinking about going ahead and paying for the travel document and sending it off. But now I'm not even sure if that will get processed in time for her to be able to travel in december to colombia. What do you think? Thanks Dean

Please update us. Today my husband received notice that his biometrics are scheduled for 9/11/07. He still hasn't received the receipt, but it's good to see he's in the system. Thank you!

Hi if you get please keep me posted I mailed my AOS on July 28th Chicago received it on July 31st and I still have not heard anything are received any letter. We are close with the date of mailing the AOS? My wife is wanting to travel back to her country to visit with her family over the christmas holidays but I'm not sure the AOS process will be finished by then for her to be able to travel? Glad to hear your good news. Chicago received my AOS package on July 31st and I still have not received anything. I hope maybe this week to hear something since they received yours 1 day before mines. Did you do your package yourself? are did you get a lawyer? I did mines myself. I hope I didn't screw something up? maybe that's why I have not heard anything yet. Do you know of a phone # I can call to inquire? ThankS Dean

Don't worry, your wont have screwed something up, besides, they do not check for errors at this stage, only to make sure the package is complete, and I think you would have heard by now if you had not filed a paper your were required to...

Just completed my biometrics on Friday and today I have the last part of my medical with the CS. Once that's done I can send off the rest of the paperwork to the IJ. Yay- that's if I don't need a medical waiver.

I filed mine in Aug 14. I am going through DORA so my timeline will be different, but it my be cool to compare. For me I already have the interview that day, and I havent receive any NOA1 yet, (they told me 60 to 75 days), not biometrics appointment yet either. And I filed AOS, EAD and AP.

when I put in the Infopass the zip code that directed me to the DORA applications. I read in the USCIS that DORA is going to be until September 21 of 2007. So, check out in USCIS if you can applied there according with your area, and move until it is closed. For some people, this program has being really fast, for others, the same as Chicago.

Helloooooo!

Well got our Biometric appointment letter and it is set for Sept 13th at 1000 am. Now that we know our "A" number. How long before checking to see if we are in the system? Always so many ?????? Well the good thing about the appointment is we will not have to drive to Chicago but go to Naperville. Which is so much closer....and easier to get to. I had no idea they had a support office out in the suburbs. Go figure.
