I have submitted completed Affidavit online I am being requested for tax return or transcript.

I have a large 100 page password protected attachment from my CPA with my full tax return that was submitted for this year back in May.  is there something specific that they are looking For example page 1040...  Should I just print this and share....  Or perhaps whole document?

Or is there another option e.g. no idea how to pull a transcript?

Best option is to download a transcript from the IRS website.  Otherwise, you must upload the entire 1040 package, schedules, W-2s, 1099s, etc...

Excellent, I guess I just need to complete form 4506-T?  Also as I understand it you only need to provide the most recent tax return is that correct ?

My husband literally created an IRS account and it was available there, he didn’t complete any forms.

Yes, most recent one is mandatory.

https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript  The transcript is most likely way smaller than a 100 page tax return.

Mother resides in UK and has for 50 years, India is her place of birth.  Based on the above am I correct in assuming that a police report is only required from UK?

Also does not having this delay the process, as I understand it from the day I make payment tis can take a couple of weeks to sort.

Does she still have Indian citizenship? If yes, then according to what I quoted, she will need a police certificate from India.

Police certificates are required for any place you’ve lived for a year or more after 16 years of age.

No Indian citizenship, only British, as I understand it India does not allow dual citizenship

It doesn’t but there’s the OCI program.

Its possible they won’t require a police certificate for her. If they do, then I’d add a letter explaining why she wouldn’t need one and attaching any relevant documents to support it.

This topic is confusing, does she require a police certificate from India too?

Website states:

Lived in your country of nationality for more than 6 months at any time in your life.

Mo mothers country of nationality is the UK and she was born in India and emigrated to the UK at the age of 18.
